Tracey

Hi, my name is Tracey and I have worked at M&L Pets World since November 2008.
I live locally with my 2 grown up children and 2 guinea pigs! I also have a great passion for horses and regularly ride and care for my friends’ horses.
I have achieved my Levels 1 and 2 in Animal Nutrition with Royal Canin and enjoy being able to offer advice to customers on the various great diets we have in store.
I also love creating window and indoor displays which help to highlight new products.

Zoe

My name is Zoe, I’ve worked at M&L Pets World since July 2016 after graduating university with a degree in animal behaviour.
I have a range of pets including a Labrador, Ragdoll cat, chinchilla, cockatiel, rabbit and a gerbil which have helped give me knowledge on a wide variety of animals.

Alison

My name is Alison.  I have worked at M&L Pets World for the past 10 years. I have a budgie, a green cheek conure and 2 rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. During my time at M&L Pets World, I have gained a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification in Pet Store Management.  I have also gained various certificates from Royal Canin in dog and cat nutrition.  I feel the training and study undertaken to achieve these qualifications has given me the knowledge and understanding to enable me to give up to date and impartial information and advice on animal care.

In addition, I feel that my strengths are giving a warm welcome with a friendly attitude to customers, old and new.

Michele

We established M&L Pets World in July 1985,
33 years on and we have seen many changes from where we started with a small shop in a garden centre. We quickly added a specialist Aquatic centre within the same complex, but we have since moved both M&L Pets World and Jaydee Aquatics to bigger premises within a few miles of each other and have gone from manning the shops virtually single-handedly for 7 days a week, to now employing several fantastic people who share our passion for pets.
Although the demands of my role at M&L Pets World have changed dramatically, especially since moving the pet shop to the busy Gwersyllt site, I enjoy nothing more than being in the front of the shop meeting customers and their pets and helping them find the best products.
At home I am kept company by George – a very independent tabby cat that came to me 16 years ago as a stray and who now enjoys a very ‘pampurred’ life, as you can imagine! I also keep pond fish and enjoy gardening and motorcycling in my spare time.
