Hi, my name is Tracey and I have worked at M and L Pets World, Gwersyllt, since November, 2008.
I live locally with my two children and have a variety of animals at home.
I have guinea pigs, fish and a 16 year old German Shepherd Cross dog.
I also have a passion for horses and regularly ride and care for friends’ horses.
I have achieved my Level 1 and 2 in Animal Nutrition with Royal Canin and enjoy being able to offer advice to customers on the various diets available in-store.

Hello my name is Elizabeth. From a very young age I was brought up with animals so I think this is where my passion has come from.
I have worked at M and L Pets World full time since 1991.
Over the years I have kept a variety of animals but currently have twenty-two chickens, two turkeys, three tortoises, two dogs and coldwater fish.
When I first started here I gained my City and Guilds in Pet Store Management but have more recently taken to studying again and have passed my Lever One and Level Two Royal Canin Nutritional Training, so I now have a lot of knowledge to help customers on meeting the correct nutritional needs for their cats and dogs.
When I am not in work I enjoy spending time with my children, helping out at our local Scout Group, as I am an Assistant Beaver Leader. I also enjoy camping and walking my dogs.
Hope to see you in store soon.

My name is Alison and I have worked for M and L Petsworld since March 2008.
I have several pets including a rescued Cavalier King Charls Spaniel, cockatiels, green cheeked conure and a hamster.
During my time at M and L Petsworld I have gained a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Pet Store Management of which I am very proud. I have also gained various certificates from Royal Canin on dog and cat nutrition. These, I feel, have given me the knowledge and understanding to enable me to give up to date advice on animal care.
I also feel my strengths are giving a warm welcome and friendly attitude to customers old and new.

We established M&L Pets World in July 1985,
31 years on and we have seen many changes from where we started with a small shop in a garden centre. We quickly added a specialist Aquatic centre within the same complex, but we have since moved both M&L Pets World and Jaydee Aquatics to bigger premises within a few miles of each other and have gone from manning the shops virtually single-handedly for 7 days a week, to now employing several fantastic people who share our passion for pets.
Although the demands of my role at M&L Pets World have changed dramatically, especially since moving the pet shop to the busy Gwersyllt site, I enjoy nothing more than being in the front of the shop meeting customers and their pets and helping them find the best products.
At home I am kept company by George – a very independent tabby cat that came to me 14 years ago as a stray and who now enjoys a very ‘pampurred’ life, as you can imagine! I also keep pond fish and enjoy gardening and motorcycling in my spare time.
